Manuscript Guidelines
to Submit a Paper for
Review to IJERI
- Word Document Page Setup:
Top = 1", Bottom = 1", Left =
1.25", and Right = 1.25". This is the default setting for Microsoft Word.
Do Not Use Headers or Footers
- Text Justification:
Submit all text as "LEFT
JUSTIFIED" with No Paragraph Indentation.
Leave one space between
paragraphs.
- Page Breaks: No page breaks are to be inserted in your
document.
- Font
Style: Use
11-point Times New Roman
throughout the paper except where indicated otherwise.
- Image
Resolution: Images should
be 96 dpi, and not larger than 460 X 345
Pixels.
- Images:
All images should be included in the body of the paper. (.jpg or .gif format
preferred)
- Paper
Title: Center at the top with 18-point Times New
Roman (Bold).
- Author and Affiliation:
Use 12-point Times New Roman.
Leave one blank line between the Title and the "Author and Affiliation"
section. List on consecutive lines: the Author's name and the Author's
Affiliation. If there are two authors follow the above guidelines by adding
one space below the first listed author and repeat the process. If there are
more than two authors, add on line below the last listed author and repeat
the same procedure.
Do not create a table or text box and place the "Author and
Affiliation" information horizontally.
- Body
of the Paper:
Use 11-point Times New Roman.
Leave one
blank line between the "Author's Affiliation" section and the body of the
paper. Use a one-column format with left
justification. Please do not use space between paragraphs and use 0.5
indentation as break between paragraphs.
- Abstracts: Abstracts are required.
Use 11-point Times New Roman Italic.
Limit abstracts to 250 words or
less.
- Headings: Headings are not required but can be included.
Use 11-point Times New Roman (ALL CAPS AND BOLD). Leave one
blank line between the heading and body of the paper.
- Page
Numbering: The pages should not be numbered.
- Bibliographical Information:
Leave one blank line between the body
of the paper and the bibliographical information. The referencing preference
is to list and number each reference when referring to them in the text
(e.g. [2]), type the corresponding reference number inside of bracket [1].
Consider each citation as a separate paragraph, using a standard paragraph
break between each citation. Do not use the End-Page Reference
utility in Microsoft Word. You must manually place references in the body of
the text. Use font size 11 Times New Roman.
- Tables and Figures:
Center all tables with the caption placed one space above
the table and centered. Center all figures with the caption placed
one space below the figure and centered.
- Page
limit:
Submitted article should not be more than 15 pages.
- Publication charges:
Accepted articles are subject to mandatory
publication charges.

exactly, but please come as close as possible. All submissions
are subject to editing in order to create acceptable Web pages.
